My name is Venus Martin, and I absolutely LOVE everything about Traveling.

I am from South Georgia and grew up a minister’s daughter. As such, my exposure to travel was limited to my father's ministry around Georgia and Louisiana and a few family trips to Disney.

That all changed in 1997 when Ed took me on my first cruise, a 6 night Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas. That was the beginning of my love of all things travel and adventure. Ed and I have shared many more adventures since that first trip, to include getting married in May of 2000, raising our family and sharing our love of travel with our grandchildren.

We've cruised on multiple cruise lines since that first cruise on Carnival. Our adventures include Royal Caribbean, Princess, Virgin Voyages and Celebrity. From Family cruises with our grandchildren to a Sisters only cruise, to Adult only cruises. We've Cruised for as few as 3 nights and as many as 14 where we enjoyed Alaska by sea and land.

Our adventures go beyond cruises, we have traveled 48 of the 52 states in our jeep. Traveling from Coast to Coast in our jeep has given us opportunities to experience and see things some people only dream about.  The jeep is also our favorite mode of transportation for visiting the North Georgia Mountains during the New Year Holiday and when we take our weekend beach trips. The grandkids also enjoy the weeklong beach trips during the summer and our trips to Disney or Universal.

The most relaxing trips we have taken have to be the ones we've experienced at the Adult only all inclusive Sandals Resorts. That is really where I first began my journey to becoming a travel advisor. We have always enjoyed talking about travel and sharing our experiences with others. Providing other travelers with information about must see places, restaurants, routes, and hearing about their unique finds as well. It was during a conversation with a couple we met at the resort who really were not enjoying all the benefits of the resort because they were not aware and had no one to guide them. They had booked their stay online with no guidance or support during the process to ensure they took advantage of all the benefits available to them. Knowing how different their trip could have been, and how our experience at the same resort was so different really resonated with me. That is what started me on this journey, to really share my love of travel and provide others with the same opportunities.



I want to share my love and excitement of travel. From planning to departure day countdown to the trip beginning. I want to help you experience it all. I even enjoy the packing, so much so that I start that process weeks before. I get giddy with excitement as the day to leave approaches and I want to share that feeling with others. The excitement of travel as well as making the most of the destination.
